The family-owned and -operated business has a long history, dating back to 1962, when Dutch immigrants Bram and Ena Boekestyn launched their first commercial greenhouse for growing ornamental plants and flowers. Since then, it’s been 3 generations of growers, 3 production greenhouses, and 70 Acres of land propelling their growth along the way.

& Boekestyn Greenhouses Plant 2:
With sales continuing to rise, Flora Pack, was outgrowing their offices and warehouse. This led to the purchase of a second farm ‘Plant 2’ at 1539 Fourth Ave. The Flora Pack team, including the warehouse crew, all moved to this new location to accommodate the growing sales and shipping needs.

Plant 3: Central Operations Hub
This project, executed by Havecon Horticultural Projects, aimed to enhance production capacity to meet growing demand, particularly from U.S.-based grocery chains and wholesale partners. Construction began in October 2021, with completion scheduled for early February 2022, and the first crops planted by March 2022 .
